Decided that I hadn’t had a walk around the bail for over a week so took a chance on a golden sunrise. The weather forecast looked good, so made it up to the Bail for around 7am. I knew before i’d got there it wasn’t to be…..I was met with fog. Lots of fog and mist. It actually made a nice change, and a feeling of autumn was in the air; the leaves were falling and I was full of optimism.
For me, Sunday mornings are the very best time to go out with the camera. It’s always quiet and the opportunity to grab some photos without people in are greater. I’d hope I might see the resident fox, but no joy today. It’s usually around int he early hours on the lookout for food. and i’ve seen it a few times around Castle Hill.
Almost an hour of peace and quiet and good 30-40 images and I was done - it had started to get a little busier with a few runners and dog walkers also enjoying the calm. It’s amazing how you can visit the same place time after time but the photos can tell a different story.
Anyway - here’s the rest of the gallery, I hope you enjoy
